The bands sound post hiatus, 75 on up, is so refreshing. Especially 77-79 which the band seemed to find a pace or groove. In 78 the band opened the sound a bit from the pristine timeless tight bass of 77 on to something a little more raucous. Phil was stepping out in the mix, there was a serious party backstage and on stage they turned it out.
